International Caravan Windsor Carved Wood Hard Wood Small Secretary Desk - Walnut

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It will be perfect for doing homework on her laptop. It is really beautiful in my opinion and very functional too. I was able to put it together myself. It had one little chip out of the wood in a spot that no one can see. Other than that, it arrived in great shape. My husband glued the piece of wood back on and tightened the legs a little more for me. I think it is a fair price for a nice desk. It is a nice design and has room to store little supplies. It is a little narrow for its height, so we intend to put a bracket on the back and attach it to the wall to be sure it cannot be knocked over by or onto our grandchildren. That is something to consider, but it is a great desk. I would buy one for myself because I like it better than my own desk.

This writing desk is a beautiful piece of furniture. The quality of the wood is decent enough. However, there were several issues with the desk I received. As soon as I opened the box and let out the desk, the desk drawer knob fell out. I thought perhaps the screw was in the drawer, but it was nowhere to be found. I happen to have a screw that fit perfectly, so that was not a big issue.Then I found out, that one of the panels that slides out to hold the desk open, was either too small or the opening was too big. The panel sways side to side way too easily.After that, I find out that some of the screws that come attached to the legs were not long enough to use the washers that were provided, and that the legs are not finished on the bottom with a pad to avoid scratching the floor.I also found out upon inspection of the staining work that it was not well finished.I do not know if this was unusual for this company, but their quality control has room for improvement.All in all, this is a beautiful piece and these things are not enough for me to go through the trouble of returning the desk, so I decided to keep it. However, I will not be ordering from this company again.

Worst quality! Terrible engineering! Cheap, cheap, cheap! The worst! Nothing lines up! So grossly over-priced. If it’s worth $25, I would be shocked! If I could give negative stars, I would.

I have a small house, so this is exactly what I needed. It is solid wood, no particle board. It is solid and well made. It is well packaged and would have to be severly mishandled to get damaged in shipping. Took me 10 minutes to bolt on the legs. (I am 72). Looks good and has a large drawer. This is in no way a large desk. It is exactly what the pictures show and what the discription says. It is worth the money.

Paint poorly and draw has no stop when opening also when opening front be prepared to write on a slant do not recommend was not worth the price

Good value for what you’re spending. The unit is almost 2” smaller in depth than advertised, so my laptop won’t fit in the drawer. It does fit under the drawer though. Made very well over all.

I put this on my Amazon wish list & it sold out. I noticed it came back in stock on another popular website(where it is more expensive)—so I checked Amazon again & bought it before it sold out again. It is packaged very well (a box within a box & styrofoam)—-1 of the legs has a little chip/rough place in the wood at the top where it hooks into the desk, but I can smooth it out & fix it. It’s a perfect size & absolutely gorgeous!!! So glad I bought it.

It's a nice looking piece but hardly a collectable. There was some damage to the desk. The company was slow in responding.
