Set of three 5” plastic sport balls
I ordered this set of sports balls for my grandsons to play with on our back porch. The set comes with 3 small sports balls. They are not soft like a foam ball, they are plastic and filled with air. Since they are rubber, we think we are going to use them in the pool.The football is the softest of the three and will work great teaching the little ones how to,throw a spiral. The soccer ball is fun to play catch, it’s soft where it won’t hurt if our little ones get hit.The basketball is filled tight and can bounce easily. We think we want to make sure this ball is only used for the basketball hoop, because it stings hard when hit.Each of the balls are 5” and just a handful for the little guys.

Great outdoor play for toddlers
These balls are fantastic for toddlers and little kids. The small size makes it easier for little hands to grip and throw. They are slightly squishy and made with a softer plastic so they won’t hurt or bruise if a kid is hit with one while playing catch with other small children. (I can’t vouch that they are completely injury-free; if two adults were really wailing the balls at each other, it’s possible one could leave a mark. We didn’t test this for obvious reasons.) The balls arrive slightly underinflated, so while they do bounce it’s not very high. This is perfect for the intended age range because, again, it’ll reduce injury.
