Just used this for the first time, and what a time saver. Start to finish, it took about 45 seconds to eviscerate the pineapple! Nice, uniform, bite-size slices and so easy to use. If you enjoy fresh fruit, this is the way to go!

Love it! Amazingly easy to use . At first I was skeptical but once we used it we just loved it. No more mess when wanting to eat a pineapple.

The design of this pineapple slicer is great. It works well, and even comes with a plate thing to cover the bottom, so it stands up, and you won’t poke yourself when grabbing for it in your over-crowded gadget cabinet (or is that just a problem for ME?!). It comes apart, and is dishwasher safe. My only complaint is that the slices are really thin. I was hoping to use this to cut pineapple for fruit salads, but the pieces will be too thin for something like that. But in a bowl of cottage cheese, the pieces are PERFECT (and SO yummy!). So it just depends on what you want to do with your pineapple after you cut it… I do still recommend it.

I received one as a gift and it is the most practical present as I love pineapples! It is easy to use and only takes a few minutes to get evenly sliced pineapple pieces. Great for serving at parties! I have purchased more and given them as presents!

Great tool that worked perfectly. My only comment would be that you might need two people to use it unless you're a very strong person. My husband held the pineapple down, as I turned the tool, then again to pull the fruit out of the shell.

This little gadget makes cutting and serving pineapple sooooo easy. Simply cut the top of the pineapple off and put this on and start spinning it clockwise. When you get to the bottom, stop turning and simply pull the spiral sliced pineapple out and serve anyway you like [slices or cubes]. Cleanup is easy with the included brush and removable handle, which securely snaps into place.

It does the job. It is difficult to remove the black handler for cleaning. Maybe my hands are too weak to equally press the 2 black buttons and pull at the same time. The cleaning brush that came with it is useless. It is too narrow, too short and too flimsy to clean the tube. I use a bottle brush instead. The slices are rather thin, cutting them does not lead to nice chunks. I will continue to use it, but will be looking for another product. I bought it because of the low cost and the 4.6 rating. Less expensive is not always the a bargain.
