Good first relatively cheap set of catching gear
This is my son’s first set of catching gear. We live in the UK and the choice over there is very limited. The set seems to be well made and fits well.It’s quick to get on and off in between innings.He is happy with it.I’m happy with the price.

Great quality and function
With a teenage son who is growing faster than I can keep up, I was worried about spending hundreds upon hundreds of dollars for new catcher's gear, but I didn't want to sacrifice quality or safety for a cheaper price tag. This set hit the mark! It is way less than other sets, but my son loves the quality, fit and function of it. Great option for intermediate players going through those growth spurts.

Good price and fit, excellent beginner
Provides excellent protection for a very reasonable price. High Quality, good fit and finish, easy to put on with some adjustments. Helmet is very protective yet doesn't interfere with play. Pads are all strong and will tolerate those impacts s expected at this level of play. At this age group it also is a male/female unisex product.All contact points are double/triple stitched using "O" rings instead of "D" rings to allow free movement. Helmet is multi-point fastened with large fasteners and clips. All fabric is breathable keeping player cool.Easton is a respected name in the industry, and provides an excellent Price Point for parents while providing confident protection. I RECOMMEND.

Rivets will fail on chin guards.
Two games in and one rivet popped on the shin guard. I drilled out the old rivet and replaced it. Two games later and another rivet failed.The rivets were run straight through the strap without sufficient support, allowing the rivet to get pulled through the strap. A poor design and is guaranteed to fail.I’m giving two stars instead of one because the rest of the gear is holding up well, and I can fix the defective parts myself.Adding photos of my repair job for others who may have the same issue and how best to overcome it.

WARNING…Do Not but this product.
WARNING….this product is poorly made. We purchased a set in august of 2023. The shin guards made it two games before it came apart at the knee. Amazon refunded the money and we bought the same set in January. We were hopeful it was just one bad set. The new pair made about 50 days before the shin guards came apart at the knee again. This time we were beyond amazon’s 30 day return. Easton will not refund money and only offers a replacement one time. Try at your own risk.
