Basic rugged feature phone.
So far, I am very impressed with my new phone. I have a fixed yearly plan with a one off payment (£36) for unlimited calls/text and a bit of data each month. Its my main dialer as I keep my smartphone separate for privacy and security reasons. So, this fits perfectly in my lifestyle as its rugged and I sail and cycle a lot. Its robustly built and is secure in the hand. Its grippy and it won't be slipping out of the hand even when wet. It also possible to fit a lanyard. The buttons are a good size and are grippy too.Its basic as basic comes. There are no games, not even snake and it doesn't play MP3's, but its not what it is designed for. It has Bluetooth to connect a headset or to another device to transfer photos etc and a camera which is suffice for emergencies such as accidents etc, but you won't be wanting to take your holiday snaps with it, saying that, it does also record videos and has a flash plus a few filters. It has a flashlight which is quite good and perfectly fine to watch your step when walking in the dark etc. It has the SOS button on the back which you can customise with contacts, text message and also a siren. The screen is perfectly adequate and the menu simple. Texting is old school with predictive text, there are some templates for quick replies and emoji's.It is 4g and also 3g/2g, so getting a signal shouldn't be an issue. There are preprogrammed profiles depending on your environment, such as indoors/outdoors/meetings where sounds are at different volumes or silent. Sound during calls is fine, its not going to be the best sound out there because its waterproof and obviously to be waterproof there will always be a barrier of sorts, but is perfectly useable and the mic I am told is normal to those on the other end.It did an update once switched (found in menu) on which it downloaded, you can simply turn the data off, but a stand out feature for me is its connectivity to a PC by plugging it in via USB. You can transfer files, photos and videos mainly which can be set as background and screensaver if you want. On connection to a laptop you can select charging/USB/PC connecting. PC connecting will make the phone a modem with no set up at all, plug and play which is great for me with being off grid often and to use the bit of data that I get with my plan, there is no app store, web browser or other to use data except for the updates. The included charger cable is thin and it is USB micro, it works fine and does the job and these are the only downsides in my eyes, though I like most people will have alternative cables to use.For the price, its a great buy. Perfect for those who want a simple phone, one that will take drops or finds itself in wet, muddy, sandy environments etc. Please with it.

Perfect
Just the job as I'm always sitting on, flushing or dropping mine. This phone will survive all of that :)

Good simple rugged phone- NO wifi.
Now that Amazon appear to be using hallucinating AI to complete technical details, their advice re power, batteries, wifi and so on is simply unreliable. This phone does NOT have WiFi.It supports 2G, 3G, 4G and bluetooth. The battery is supplied outside the phone and requires installation- and while you have the back off, add a micro SD card too. A tiny screwdriver is supplied with the phone- keep it safe! The SD card if you fit one (optional) seems most useful for storing photos- I could not set the phone to use it as principal storage for messages or contacts.Ah- the back. Is held on with six really tiny screws - or should be. We received our phone with one screw missing. The back was still pretty secure, just not quite so water resistant. The USB socket is a micro USB (NOT USB C) and the phone was supplied with a UK mains plug and a micro USB plug.It seems to be possible to tether a laptop using a USB cable but we have not tried that. There does not seem to be a browser on the phone.Note that the SIM socket is the nano-sim size. We needed to transfer an old sim, and had to get a new nano sim, and have the number moved to the new sim (not a problem). There are two nano sim sockets if you need them, selected from a menu.Good phone from a major Chinese manufacturer, but not described properly by Amazon. It suits us - we like the button operation and the screen is adequate for text messages.

Great little phone
Great little phone. Can't play music on it as it doesn't recognise mp3s but a good solid construction phone with basic functions

Excellent Phone but Cannot Find a Replacement Battery
This was all I was expecting and all that I wanted. Rugged, easy to use, manual easily available, 4G (it says). But I am unable to find a replacement battery (should I need one) so I am buying a second TCL3189 as a backup. At £24 that's an expensive battery but reasonable for a backup phone.

Very good phone in this price range
Nice beautiful, strong, water resistant phone. But specs are very wrong. It does not come with a Type C connection. Apparently you need to use screw driver 🪛 to insert the sim cards. It is a 4G phone with nice graphics, 17mb internal storage, decent camera, bluetooth, dual sim, side volume buttons. Fine torch with dust particles in the torch lens. Good price. Very nice good quality rubber buttons. Strong build quality. 200 sms storage capacity. 2000 contacts storage capacity. Fake call feature. Call blcoker. You cannot remove China from world clock. No Urdu support. Nice large screen message writer. Strong vibration and nice loud good quality ringtones. If i could swap sims without using the screw driver i could have kept this phone.
