8 facets!!!! Easy. Useful. Life-changer.
I'm not a professional reviewer, influencer, affiliate marketer, or anything of that nature, so stay with me. I'll try to make the review as useful and articulate as possible for other folks out there to make their own decisions.I came across another brand of this type of pomodoro device, then I saw this one in "similar." What captured my attention about the similar (this one) was that it had 8 facets instead of 6. The description said nothing about customization of timer, which was making me really bugged if I purchase this or the one that said 6 facets (that clearly markets the customization features). But I noticed that they were exactly the same, including all the buttons, but were less expensive and had 8 facets (including 45 and 60 minutes, which are relevant for my use case), so I decided to have a try. What a nice surprise. This 8-faceted divice has 8 different instant Pomodoro options plus the customization options, both for minutes and seconds. It also allows me to mute the alarm when I need to be in a quiet space and still have some indication that the alarm is going off. It's super easy to use. And for me, it became extra useful because I often get so concentrated on my work and stuff that I forget to take breaks, pee, eat, or whatever. I can go 8 hours straight and not see the passing of time. But guess what does this do to my body? Yeah, not good. So, I must find the right strategies that help me get work done in a productive but healthy way. This device helps me with that. I set work sprints of 60 minutes, and every time the alarm goes off, I look at the clock, and it has been really helpful in making smarter decisions about my work and health. The only complaint I really have about this device is that level 1 ( the first sound level after mute) could be quieter. There is not that much differentiation between the 4 sound levels, and level 5, which is supposed to be the loudest, is not loud enough if you think about a busy and noisy kitchen, for example. When I have the exhaustion fan working while cooking, frying, baking and doing all crazy stuff that requires timer, level 5 would sound like a fart (speculation, I did not try). The second thing they should improve/change is the display. Although I can see the numbers clearly, someone older than me or without glasses might have trouble. There is quite more space to place a bigger display. Make the buttons shorter or divide them into 4 in each corner and make the display bigger with bigger numbers without changing the size of the device.Which comes to that. The size of the device is perfect, in my opinion. It's small enough to put in any pocket and big enough to handle with one hand without trouble. It's also very lightweight. The lateral numbers in each facet are super big, they have a backlight, and the backlight lits up when you are selecting that number for your pomodoro time. No way to go wrong. You just select the facet, put it on the table, and the counter starts. Can't be easier than this!I can't tell about battery life yet, and sorry, all people say "I'll come back to update bla bla" but I know I won't. I'll forget about it, especially because I've been using it for a while now, and the battery is still up from its initial charge, so I guess it's ok enough. If it was a catastrophe of battery, I would probably come back to update the next day. But it looks like it's pretty fine.So my recommendation is: I totally recommend this device for people who need a pomodoro-like machine that is small, cute, easy to use, and less expensive than the freaking leading brand. And no, I was not paid to give this review, did NOT receive this device for free, or have any connections with the selling dudes. I'm just puzzled how can this be, how the leading brand makes it so much more expensive. Plus, the 8 facets grab most work-related Pomodoro use cases. If you want something easy for the kitchen, though, don't get this machine. You'll have to use the customization buttons all the time, and it will defeat the purpose of having a Pomodoro, IMO. When I'm in the kitchen, I use 2.5, 3, 4 7, 8 minutes for daily stuff, and 30, 45, 60 mins, 3 hours, 4 hours for real cocking. So what I'm saying is that if you are looking for something for the kitchen, I'm not convinced this one is the best.Hope this is helpful for someone making their decision! Cheers!

Mal-functioning or just badly designed?
This was recommended to me by a fellow yogi and massage therapist to use for timing our sessions. I had high hopes having seen an in-person demonstration. My experience is not as I had hoped. The well-packed item arrived charged (to some degree), but with no paperwork. The 'back' side of the timer that others have photographed to say 'Flip Timer' does not light up for me. That panel stays dark no matter what I do. However, 'it that important?' - well, I can't say, because I have no instructions. I also cannot get the front of the timer to stay visible. So when I set a countdown from any of the many available options (3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 and 60 minutes), the screen dims, leaving me unable to read the time remaining. For my use, this makes the timer deficient. The buttons are 'loud' in that there's a 'click' sound when depressed. If you decide to set a unique countdown, there is no ability to reduce time, so if you go too far with your clicking, you would have to start over.So far, I've found this device to be wholly unworthy of the price I paid - around $30. Unfortunately, I have waited too long to try to return. So this is another lesson learned.

Great device. A must have.
Very useful and discreet for time management. The magnet makes it possible to use it everywhere. Much better and easier than a smart smartphone timer.

A nice convenient versatile timer.
When you are maximizing your productivity, the last thing you want to do is fiddle around punching buttons. This timer is great. Stand it up facing the ceiling and it goes to sleep. Tip it over such that the number of desired minutes to time is showing on top and it starts the count down immediately. Stand it up again and it goes back to sleep. It simply works great. The only complaint I have with it is the USB-C jack on the timer doesn't play well with USB-C power sources to charge the battery. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable which must be plugged into a USB-A jack in order to charge the battery. My MacBook Pro only has USB-C jacks so I must use a USB-C to USB-A dongle to charge the timer from my MacBook Pro. A USB-C cable won't work. Other than this, it's just about perfect.

Perfect recharge mini timer
The media could not be loaded. ProThe size of the timer is pretty small and comes with carrying case.RechargeableAutomatically sets to the time at top of stand.Long lasting battery. Can be paused by turning upright. Can be turned off by turning upside down.Has silent mode (my fav).Timer volume can be turned up or down.Colored screen is nice and it’s bright but polarized.ConWhen you accidentally move the device or tilt it at all. It will reset the timer. The clock is hard to see at 30 min because the light is polarized.ImprovementsI want the clock to always be level no matter what timer the clock is set at.Final notesI love this timer. I can take it with me everywhere and can use it in silent study areas.
