Not real leather
I just received this bag and I'm not sure it is leather. It feels like cardboard covered in leather type material. It has no smell, not even a leather smell, so I know this isn't really leather. Kind of disappointed. Its large and seems it might hold up well for weekend getaways. I think I might return and get a "real" leather bag. Looks just like the pictures. Dark brown color. Cheap inside material. Zippers seem sturdy.

It has an odd oder, but perhaps it will fade in time. It is beautiful; however, it doesn’t appear to be genuine leather.

This was not leather
It was a stiff, plastic feeling material with an off putting odor. There were no tags indicating it was leather. I returned it.
