It does what is advertised
What I LikeThe range finder is small and easy to hold and use. I like that the GPS unit is separate. I like that the GPS does not require your phone to be connected via Bluetooth or using the app. Its handy that the GPS travels with the Range finder. The app is good, and setup is easy and using this system is easy. Shot tracking is accurate and doesn’t really mess up. Setting pins and counting putts it all works well. It gives you great club/stroke data. I like that i don’t have to pay a subscription. The putting/green tracking data is better than Arccos because of the manual tracking. What I Don't LikeThe GPS charge lasts 4/5 rounds. You need to be careful when storing it as the GPS will turn on when stored in the carrying case and thus be dead when you go to use it. The GPS uses a proprietary GPS charging cable which is a pain. You can’t use the GPS and charge it at the same time. The manual shot tracking aspect i thought i wouldn’t mind but after using Arccos with auto shot tracking i realize how much of a pain it was to have to tap your clubs. I'd have to carry the GPS with me at all times and remember to tap each time. The club tags are kind of cheap and I've had 3 break on me. The replacements I ordered where bigger in size than the ones I got originally.Bottom LineFor the cost and no subscription these are great for shot tracking, GPS, and Range finder. If you’re okay with manual shot tracking, go for this. But I've made the switch to Arccos and don’t plan on going back. I also just made the swap to Voice Caddie SL3 Hybrid Golf Range Finder as my primary range finder because I feel like it’s going to have better GPS battery life and its certainly going to be easier to charge and use.
