Absolutely perfect, thought I would be unable to get these as the workbench is so old. Would recommend this firm for any workmate parts.

Arrived on time. Fitted my old Workmate perfectly and were easy to slot in. Works exactly like the original. Good product

Not an exact fit but a little filing later and all is well.

The original component (white in the photo) has a slot that fits over the metal plating of the workmate. On the replacement, this slot is blocked by a web, so will not slide into place.If the web is sawn out, the remaining material would be too weak, as the replacement is marginally shorter than the original, so is useless.It is possible that Black and Decker had more than one design for this component, but the original component is not stamped with a part number, and I have been unable to find a diagram of parts on the web.

Who ever "copied" this Leg catch spring, did not allow for contraction before injection.The metal in the area where they fitted had to be reduced by 1,00mm before they would fit.Once fitted they work fine, not sure about the longevety though !

You Tube et al contain descriptions of how to fit these springs, often referring to modifying them to fit e.g. 3-D printed items. No such issue here. Fitting was a little challenging, but proved easy enough once the first one was in place

Got it in place but doesn't lock properly

Had to do a little fettling with a file to get plastic pin located correctly, it was tempting to hit it but might break plastic.
