So delicious!!
I was so sad when my local Fresh Market stopped carrying this brand as it’s the only safe chocolate option for my body per my doctor in order to keep lead and cadmium levels down. So thankful that the bars I got today were SO fresh as I was worried about the quality changing sitting on a hot truck somewhere. Hope this continues!! Love this chocolate, but more importantly I’m so thankful for peace of mind in knowing I’m getting all the good benefits and none of the toxic stuff!!

Pure chocolate flavor!
Love the pure chocolate flavor! It is a bit grainy because it's stone ground. Love to eat with some nuts as a snack. I have tried it in a vegan chocolate mousse (chocolate + water) and the graininess is still evident in the mousse. I have not tried to bake with it.

Best "SAFE" DARK CHOCOLATE I CAN FIND...... SO FAR
TAZA DELICIOUSLY DARK CHOCOLATE. I LOVE Green and Black's but it's not safe enough for me.So far, Taza is doing an adequate job. It's not G & B but it is SAFER and I am a chocolate Lover. The grit: I got use to it. The flavour: milder than G & B - . But over all, so that I'm not killing myself eating chocolate, it works. I'm sorry to learn about G &B chocolate because I really LOVED it and ate a lot of it. So much for that. GOOD LUCK in your CHOCOLATE SEARCH !!

Amazon has poor control
THE CHOCOLATE IS 5 STARS, but amazon has gone down hill so fast. This is not the only product deliver I am PO'd about.I have ordered these bars in the middle of a Phoenix summer and they have been perfectly fine. The chocolate is formed, shiny the break lines are clear. This last box I received were powdery, a brownish dusty look, no break lines. I knew these had been melted, but I was unsure of the powdery coating. I was so unsure if these were safe to eat, that I sent pictures to TAZA. Luckily they are safe to eat, even though it looks nothing like their bar. Oh, and the temp was 70 degrees. These had been melted in Amazon's warehouse and recooled. I will ONLY BUY THESE FROM TAZA from now on.

Different but good
The texture of the chocolate was a bit unexpected. It is a little gritty, but it reminds me of chocolate with cacao nibs ground up in it. The texture does not bother me. The chocolate flavor is very intense. It is only slightly sweet--it is not sweet like a candy bar. I don't like a lot of sugar so this is perfect for me. I like that I can eat a chunk of it and not want to eat the rest of the bar. I used it to make some chocolate coconut almond butter, and it melted well and works very well as an ingredient. The chocolate flavor is very evident. Anyone looking for a Hershey bar is going to be disappointed. If you like natural dark (very dark!) and not very sweet chocolate, then this product is for you.

Great for all the right reasons. But it tastes like chewing on a cigarette.
It gets great reviews for all the right reasons. So I'll give it a 4. But it tastes like you're chewing on a cigarette. It is the only dark chocolate that I struggle to put down and wish I didn't buy six bars. I can't do it. Lol.

Unique and exotic
I have tried quite a few others, and this is by far my favorite. I like that it's a stone ground, very high 95% dark, organic chocolate which is direct traded from the growers and paid for at better than "fair trade" prices and that it only has 4 grams of total sugar per 2.5-ounce (70 gram) bar. I find the slightly gritty texture to be unique and exotic!

Great taste, interesting texture
I love super dark chocolate but finding one without unecessary ingredients has proven to be difficult. I usually get mine from Thrive Market but they have been out of stock for a couple months and this was one of the only other brands I could find that was organic and didn't have any added contidtioners. The taste is excellent, one of the best tasting dark chocolates I have had. The texture is a bit gritty but the name says stone ground so between that and the reviews I expected that. I don't mind the texture at all just don't get this expecting nice, smooth chocolate. This is definitely for someone who likes the pure, somewhat bitter taste of chocolate.
