We use this all the time. My partner loves to make Japanese omelettes so this is perfect. It's a very good build and doesn't feel like it would break.The none stick is great as everything just slides right out.Its really easy to clean.The spatula it comes with is really helpful and makes it easy to use.Would 100% recommend this.

I bought this a few weeks ago but I’ve only just got around to trying it (I never review something until I’ve actually tried it).The handle is detachable but clips solidly onto the pan and there was no movement once it was secured. It’s impressive how much it looks like wood (it’s actually plastic or resin). The whole thing seems to be a really good quality product.The egg cooked evenly across the base of the pan (I didn’t see any evident hot spots) and rolling it, though tricky for my first time, was made much easier with the included utensil.Because I was hungry, I added chopped carrot, spring onions and pre-cooked chicken to mine after mixing chopped chillies into the whisked eggs. It would probably have been much easier to roll without the added ingredients but I was still really happy with the result.Because I overcooked the egg before rolling, my tamagoyaki was more open in structure than it should be but it was still delicious.The pan was just the right size, feels solidly constructed, and it was really easy to clean afterwards. Honestly, this pan was exactly what I’d hoped it to be.

I have had many a frying pan but this one is far by the best...the fact the handle comes off is great for omellettes when finishing them off. Washes like a dream. Very light to use.Would definitely recommend !

Tried a few of these pans, and this one is so much better than the supposed cast iron Japanese ones, which are invariably chipped or rusty. Yes this is lightweight coated metal, but it works brilliantly, is easy to clean and the detachable handle is a bonus.

Initial impressions are extremely positive. The pan feels very sturdy, and the locking handle mechanism is exceptionally tight. The handle fits the pan with impressive precision, leaving no play when locked in place.For the first cooking test, I added a little oil, and there was no sticking at all. So far, everything about this pan exceeds its price point. It's worth noting that the handle is plastic but has a realistic wood grain appearance.Overall, this tamagoyaki pan is highly recommended for its price. It's an excellent option for those who want to try this style of cooking before maybe investing in more professional, real Japanese cast iron pieces.
