These wheat berries are of excellent quality and taste. I use them as a breakfast cereal with milk, honey and cinnamon.

I was so glad to find these organic berries for making my rejuvalac. Also I used to bake with white wheat berries however since I moved to Hawaii I have not found them. I did not realize that there was different types until I learned about the rejuvalac process which you can find online videos to learn. I recently made some and sprouted these berries which worked really well. Takes a little getting used to to learn how to do it but I'm happy that it's organic and that the price is affordable as I did not want to buy a very large bag. The size of this package was perfect!

I think everyone wants to feel like a product is safe when purchased. My grain arrived in an open, torn bag, however it was enclosed within a plastic bag. It could be that since others had the same issue Amazon repackaged within a plastic bag (thank you) or the vendor did so knowing there had been problems. I would suggest the product page highlight this as it appears they understand the paper bag is not sturdy enough therefore expect your grain to be enclosed within a plastic bag. Hopefully the vendor is researching and replacing these paper bags with something more sturdy going forward. I am very happy about finding this organic grain, I have added it to my subscribe and save. I think the price point is good.

This wheat make delicious wheat berries...we do it overnight in a thermos...you place 1/4 cup of the wheat in the thermos, add about 3/4 cup of boiling water, cover it for a few seconds and tip the water out then put 3/4 cup back in and cap it up...overnight it "cooks" but so gently that the nutrients are not disturbed. The wheat does not need to be pre-soaked to do this and is delicious and easy to digest. It contains so many great nutrients and I was able to eat this even though I had previously found wheat quite indigestible. In the morning you just strain off the excess water and eat the wheat as a cereal or you can use it in recipes like salads...it's best not to cook it after using the thermos technique as you'd lose so many nutrients. The Be Still Farms wheat is particularly good for this recipe...it becomes very soft and has a great taste.

The first bag i ordered was wonderful. I sprouted it and then blended it with olive oil & sea salt, then pressed into flat bread & dehydrated at 104F to retain the nutrients. Is was my first time trying this and it was great! 5 Stars!!But very disapointed with the 2nd bag i ordered. The wheat has dark spots on the ends, is discolored, and has some other long grains mixed in.I tried rinsing over and over and picking all the bad stuff out for an hour but it still did not sprout well. Seems I got a bad bag. I'm not sure if it's mold or mildew or just dirty. I ended up tossing the sprouts out as I didn't want to take a chance.
