This set is a great value for the price. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Everything was packaged well in a sturdy box that , in my opinion looks better than the other brands. Nothing broken or missing. Better fit and finish than megabloks for sure. The motor and remote are proprietary to mould king and works as it should . The only thing that isn’t as thought out is the crane but does look the part. I’m definitely going to order more sets from mould king and most likely ties with Lego for fit and finish. This isn’t just some cheap knock off, it’s quality.

My kids saved up their money to buy this set (and of course a couple weeks later it went on sale 😒). They really wanted a deisel train and this was much more affordable than the LEGO brand. Everything works great! The set was easy enough to build that my 6 year old only needed a little help. There were no missing pieces and the completed set looks great!

For the price? Yeah. Worth it. Il probably buy another one to make it a consist since it isnt godawful.So let's be real:It's not Lego. It's not the same quality. The pieces aren't exactly the same. They are compatible. They do fit together. You need to be an advanced builder for this. The instructions aren't the best.I had to open up my motor and re-set the wires as they were rubbing and making a squealing sound. So beware you may have to use a screw driver just to get it working correctly. For me, that was a minor inconvenience.The front bumper on the locomotive was the only part that was designed poorly. I chose to use glue on about 6 pieces.The motor is an upgrade over my old 9v system. My Christmas cars, used to need three motors to make it round the track. This F unit handles it easily with one. Not bad.The motor only has one running speed. That's a con for me. But.. with a heavy train, eh... Not a huge problem. I love the included battery.

I was apprehensive on purchasing this set as it states it’s for 14 and up. However, my 7 year old begged for it so I purchased it. He was able to complete it completely on his own and it kept him busy for a longer period of time compared to other sets he’s built. He still plays with it regularly too so it’s a win-win for me!

Neat set. Falls apart easily. Would not recommend for small children unless you like rebuilding stuff all the time

THIS IS THE WORST WAY TO SPEND YOUR MONEY! THERE WERE MISSING PEICES AND THE LIGHT DOES NOT EVEN GO INTO PLACE I HAD TO STOP AND SEND IT BACK! NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT! NEVER EVER!

Fun build, love the motor integration into the locomotives trucks.

Even though this isn't the name brand Legos. It works with lego tracks!!! And my son absolutely enjoyed building it all and was excited to include it in his lego track layout!!
