Fantastic Composting Solution
I recently started experimenting with worm composting in my garden, and this bin has been a game-changer. Here's why I love it:1. **Efficient Composting**: The worms in this bin work tirelessly to break down kitchen scraps and garden waste into rich, nutrient-packed compost. I've noticed a significant reduction in the amount of kitchen waste going to the landfill.2. **Easy to Use**: Setting up the bin was a breeze, and the instructions were clear. I appreciate the thoughtful design, especially the well-ventilated lid that keeps odors in check.3. **Sturdy Construction**: This bin is built to last. It's made of durable materials that can withstand outdoor conditions. I've had mine for over a year, and it still looks and functions like new.4. **Healthy Garden**: The compost produced by these little workers has done wonders for my garden. My plants are thriving, and I'm not relying on chemical fertilizers anymore.5. **Educational**: Worm composting has become a fascinating hobby for me and a learning opportunity for my kids. It's a great way to teach them about sustainability and the importance of reducing waste.Overall, I can't recommend this worm composting bin enough. It's environmentally friendly, easy to maintain, and a valuable addition to any garden. If you're considering starting your own worm composting journey, this bin is a fantastic choice!I hope you find this review helpful! If you have any specific details or experiences you'd like to include, feel free to let me know.

Worms are not the only creature that loves these
I put two of these into my elevated raised beds, and they work fantastic for compositing. My worms can eat through about a grocery store's worth of scraps every other week. A few weeks ago, I had a surprise jump out at me when I took off the lid, a huge rat! I found that it had chewed through some of the holes and had been camping out inside. I found that both of my bins had been penetrated. Afer 2 attempts to fortify the bins I wrapped them in the smallest chicken wire I could find. 1 5x3 sheet was able to wrap both bins. These are worth the effort.

Decent, but make sure you measure!
This composter does what it is advertised to do, however, it is HUGE! I was unable to put it in my Vego raise beds simply because of how much growing real estate it took up. It is now planted directly in the ground as a composter, and works fine.

So it’s very big for a raised bed
So I was excited to receive this but when it came I was take d back by how big it is. I know the description said 8 gallons and I guess I just didn’t realize how big that actually was it’s far to big to fit in my raised bed so I’m returning it I wish they made a smaller one because I would definitely order it unless you have a massive raised garden bed I think other ppl would find this to large as well

Great garden worm bin
Nice garden worm bin. Good for having worms in a garden bed. Best to install into a new bed so you do not need to dig to install.

Get the original design. Dealing with this bin has been pure aggravation.
I purchased two of the worm bins in the original design right when they came out a few years ago and have been happy with the results.I saw this new design and assumed it was an improvement on a great design. It certainly looked nicer.Well, I finally installed the new bin yesterday, and the lid is a complete disaster. On one side, you have the hinge. On the other, the oval, clamp-like mechanism. The hinge of the lid somehow requires extreme force to snap into place, yet it easily pops off entirely when the lid is opened. And the oval clamp is extremely difficult to both snap into place and open. Snapped into place or not snapped into place, the lid itself doesn't fit easily onto the body of the bin. After wrangling the lid into full coverage, I now use a heavy flagstone on top of it to keep it in place. Dealing with this bin has been pure aggravation.I don't understand this. The original design works so well. Was this new design even tested before it was produced for sale?*For the record, the original design is the white bin with the lime lid. The lid is designed to snap easily into place and lift off easily as well. This review describes my experience with the newer design that comes in sage green and brown. Get the white bin with the lime lid. Its functionality is superior to the newer version.
