Bad Batch
I really wanted to like this, I am a big fan of Gozney and own lots of their hardware, ovens, etc. They make fantastic products but when it comes down to this dough product not so much. I dont know what it was but the flour was actually ok, just after mixing in the dry yeast it made the dough smell really bad, not sure if it was expired yeast or something was bad in there but it was a really bad pungent smell. I usually make dough myself and it's a 24hr process for me as I start with a poolish the day before. I was hoping this wold be a quick fix to making pizza on the same day. Didn't turn out the way I expected it to be. I did want to see how well it would rise, etc. But honestly I did not have it because of the bad smell it had. Didn't want to risk getting sick.
