The easiest assembly and no tools were needed. All pieces just snap into place easily with the easy instructions. Took us 15 minutes max to assemble. Sturdy chair and my elderly relative loves the swivel chair (game changer) and movable arm rests.

It was difficult to fit in because the toilet is next to the tub. A couple of screws soon came loose, and the seat got out of alignment, but since I fixed that up it's been fine. Because tubs have sloping bottoms, it was challenging to find a position where the chair frame didn't twist. Again, it's been fine since I found the sweet spot. Each time a new caregiver arrives, however, it takes a little training. Overall, a good product at this price point.

You will be SO GLAD you bought this shower bench! My elderly mother wasn’t able to get in & out of our step-over tub. But now, I just transfer her onto the seat, swivel it, and slide her in. I hesitated to spend the money, but it is totally worth it! The swivel feature is a game changer, because mom can sit straight, and I can swivel the chair. This way, she doesn’t have to twist. I just place her legs over the tub as I swivel the seat. The sliding feature works perfectly. We use this everyday!

Worked great OUT of the shower. Once we got it in the shower and tried sliding it it was very hard to slide, once we got it sliding over the legs starting bending. The chair was leaning and once we finished the shower i couldn’t spin the chair again. My daughter is only 160 pounds. Very disappointed in this chair

I investigated many similar shower assistance chairs/devices for my elderly mom's month long visit, and after trying to "get by" with a simple chair, we ordered this one - fantastic in comparison: she could sit, and navigate over the tub wall and into the shower by herself, greatly increasing her feeling of independence. Prior to this, we had to be in the bathroom with her, holding elbows and assisting with the move from a toilet seat over thin air onto the shower chair. This rotating, sliding version made it all so much easier.

The chair is sturdy, easy to operate and fits perfectly in my small bathroom. Very satisfied!

My mother is getting up there in years and has mobility issues. She had a shower chair but had issues getting in and out of it. This was the perfect solution for her as she can sit on the chair outside the shower, then swivel and slide in. The bars on the side of the chair are a big help for her to get in and out of the chair and then transition to her walker. I also feel better that she's not trying to walk into the shower and sit on a chair that had nothing she could hold on to. This worked out perfectly for her.
