A leap forward in usability, sound level and convenience
I've owned over a half dozen space heaters over the years and the Dreo units are a leap forward in usability, sound level and convenience.PROS:- Dang quiet. Love it.- You can mute the button presses.- All functions in the remote are available on the unit itself, and vice versa.- The tip-over safety is a true angle detector and not a lazy switch on the bottom that detects if the unit has ground contact. So you can lift and reposition without the unit turning off.- It remembers your last setting when you turn it back on.CONS:- I wish the remote was easier to use in the dark. Even raised bumps over certain buttons would help.

Small but powerful
I am a travel nurse and I live out of furnished finders when working. When I had to find housing last minute after a terrible experience with a landlord, I found a listing for an older home that had been remodeled and it looked very nice in pictures and in person. It wasn’t until after I signed my lease and moved in when I realized that the house did not have a central HVAC system. This was because of the age of the house. The only thing that heated and cooled the house was a wall unit that worked fairly well, however, a winter storm hit and frigid, “ arctic”, temps came quick. The wall unit could not keep up and kept going into “defrost mode” and when it did this the house got cold quick.I began looking for heaters, I wasn’t a fan of the thought of depending on one because I know they can be dangerous. I ran across the Dreo brand and saw that they had many positive reviews and features I was looking for. Auto shut off if the unit was tipped over, thermostat control, oscillating, remote controlled. I caved and bought this model for the living room area, and two smaller models, one for the bedroom and one for the bathroom. When they came I was shocked at how small they were and was skeptical about if they would even be worth it. These heaters are small, but the heat and power they put out is not and they do a very quiet job of it too. So quiet that I at first didn’t even know if it was on and blowing until I felt the air myself. They not only keep the house warm in addition with the wall unit running, but I have noticed I don’t have to run the wall unit as much, it takes the work load off from it, and I’ve even had multiple times where I have had to turn the heaters off because the house gets too warm. Another feature I like that I didn’t realize they all had was that I can switch them over to just a regular fan mode and it circulates the air. Very nice, very powerful, and very nice looking as well. I highly recommend this brand. They saved me and my pups from freezing to death this winter.

Nice smaller space heater
I use this space heater in my basement, which does get chilly. The Dreo 16 inch (0.41 m) space heater is placed within 5 ft (1.52 m) of my couch and definitely makes the room much more comfortable to watch TV. I really like this space heater. My key reasons:1. It looks great, I have the gold version,2. It is quiet when turned on,3. Easy to use controls (both on the remote and on top of the unit),4. Multiple modes for temperature control (Low, Medium, and High plus eco-mode, that turns the space heater on and off based on set temperature)5. The fan pushes a flow of warm air that can be felt at least 4 feet (1.22 m) away,6. Integrated child lock7. 70 degree swing motion provides a nice dispersion of air,8. A reasonable price point.9. At 16 inches (0.41 m) this is a very nice size, not too big and not too smallI primarily use the ECO mode, which is a perfect way to keep the area at the target temperature. What's interesting about this fan is that the front temperature lights turn off, vs. the 25-inch tower, which stays on. At first, I thought there was a problem, however, if this unit were used in a bedroom, you would certainly want the lights to turn off while you are using it, so it does not disturb you while sleeping. The controls are placed on the top of the unit and do not light up. They are easy to access, but, if you operate this in a dark room, it makes it a little difficult to see which button to push.I don't have any negatives on this product. In fact, based on my experience with the larger 25-inch tower version, I purchased this second, smaller version for my basement. I would highly recommend this space heater if you need to warm up a smaller space.

Great heater
This heater works well for my bedroom. Its timer makes it perfect for sleeping and not overheating the room or using too much energy. The saftey features are good for when my dogs play and knock the heater over. The oscillating mode is ok but doesn’t really work in eco mode. Remote control is stylish and easy to distinguish buttons by feel. Great, safe heater.

Worked for our Bathroom.
Heat setting is hot. I love having the remote control. It was perfect for our large bathroom, but I don’t know how it would do for a bedroom. The fan turns from side to side and sits stable.

Works awesome
Should honestly come with a lower setting then what's available because this product works SO good, you'll be turning it on and off frequently if you don't have a lot of space to heat. Otherwise perfect.

Really good space heaters that heats VERY WELL!
This heater may be slightly smaller than traditional space heaters but I’m here to tell you this thing packs a punch. It really heats well and with the blower function it really dissipates the heat throughout a room with ease. Great value for the price paid for it. It is very portable and is very light. It has a tip over safety feature on it in which it will cut off helping prevent a fire. The remote control feature is wonderful. And the functionality is awesome because of the many different modes you can put it in including the thermostat feature.
