Easy to dispense and the nozzle helps get the serum in between the roots. It’s fragrance free and soothing when applied. I feel an ever so slight tingling at times, but this barely lasts a few minutes.It’s lightweight, doesn’t weigh down my hair, and doesn’t make it grease up any faster than it usually would. It actually gives my hair a bit of texture in between the roots and doesn’t make it flat.I can’t say my hair has become thicker, but I’ve seen less shedding. I’ve been applying it on damp hair three times a week for over 3 weeks now. So far, happy to keep this in my hair care routine and hoping tosee more results with time. I’d be happy to recommend.

The nozzle bottle makes it so easy to apply directly to my scalp. The tonic is very runny and it spreads easily. At first I made the mistake of using too much but honestly you need very little and it goes far. My scalp feels cleaner and more comfortable since using this and I can see lots of baby hairs around my scalp x

I really wanted to like this hair serum because all indy beauty products are 100% vegan (certified by Djurens Rätt, Swedens leading animal rights organisation). It is listed as an oil alternative, owever, one of the ingredients - Isochrysis Galbana is pore clogging.Isochrysis Galbana extract is the extract of the alga, isochrysis galbana, isochrysidaceae.Algae extracts are comedogenic because they penetrate the pores and accelerate the growth of micro-comedones. Algae are also high in iodides, which can irritate the pores, triggering inflammation and the formation of pustules.This nasty ingredient can be found in some skin care products and is rated a 5 on the comedogenic scale.I cannot abide oily products in my hair and on my scalp but more importantly and most distressing of all, the Isochrysis Galbana is vegan but has been tested on animals. Rabbits and rats. Not a 100% vegan product at all.This product is definitely not for me.

I have not been using this Root Revive Scalp Serum for long enough to notice a difference but so far I can comment on it's ease of use and the fact that it does not leave any greasy residue on my scalp and hair roots. I have medium thick and wavy hair but have noticed an increase in shedding probably due to pre menopausal hormones so am hoping this serum will help. It does absorb easily when massaged into the scalp and does not have a strong scent to it. I quite like it but like most products out there one must test for themselves what works or not.

I ordered this root revive serum because I've been going through a distressing time with hair loss. I already have fine hair, and have been using essential oil serums to see if they would help, but having thin hair they make it greasy so I've had to use them at night or when I'm not styling. I can't tell just yet if this serum will make my hair thicker and boost growth, however, I love it for other reasons.I have been using it as instructed, to apply a few drops and rub it into my scalp. I've done this when my hair is semi-dry before blow drying. It's light and does not weigh my hair down or make it look greasy. In fact, it has made a noticeable difference to the condition of my hair. It looks glossy and smooth. I can run my fingers through it and it feels more nourished. There is texture, as if I'd used a styling product, with the strands separated and split ends not as visible. My hair looks shiny. It hasn't looked this good in such a long time, and I've only just started to use this serum in my routine.I really hope that it does restore my hair, but in the meantime, the results are amazing. I absolutely love it. It has made such a difference that I'll definitely finish this bottle and expect to be coming back for more in future.
