I know next-to-nothing about wood routers. I bought this to round the edges of a counter top in a camper van I'm building. I tried this router on a scrap piece of wood and it was simple and easy - and gave a great edge. Then I went straight to the countertop and rounded the edges easily. It turned out well and looks great.The instructions kind of suck but if you're mechanical at all you can get it sorted easily enough. Plus, YouTube exists so watch a quick video if you're confused.This router came with a LOT of bits and I'm very impressed with the quality of the router, and bits, and all of it.

It is a small hand held router. It has some optional accessories that came with it and several bits/ blades it worked very well it is a good piece of wood working tool

Great router ! Well built and easy to use . I used this router to trim out door hinges. The bits that came with the router cut smooth and clean . This is for small house projects not industrial heavy use . You will be happy what this does for the price .

Compact router.I use it to cut a circle in plywood.

I don't normally write reviews but with this product, I'm going to make an exception. You definitely get what you pay for with this item and this time it was not good. The router was made in China but come on now many tools are. I've been working/building with hand and power tools for many years and it's usually hard to fool me when it comes to how they work or what to expect with the quality of various products relative to price. But I have to admit, they got me on this one.I will usually read (quickly) instruction manuals just to be safe. The CYA safety info in this instruction manual was clear obviously written by management. The user section quickly went downhill. The image annotations and the adjacent written explanations seldom matched. The written explanations many times didn't make sense as they referred to things that were not shown or were not obviously part of the tool. The router itself definitely reflects the price. I don't normally do a lot if any router work, so I wasn't expecting too much but I mean....really. The depth control for the bit was impossible to set accurately, the collet that holds the bit tight for cutting.....doesn't, the lack of a RPM selector was offset by suggesting that several attempts of scrap wood should give you a good feel for the main cut. Finally, there were two or three pairs of extra carbon brushes for the motor which was not a confidence builder when you first open the package.I could go on but I won't because prospective buyers should get the general idea. I am not a "return" guy but this time I'm going to make an exception. Mr. Amazon is just going to have to bear with me this time.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend it, does a so so job spend a little more and get a better one.

So far haven't had any of the bits fail, but I take multible shallow cuts.
