Not really sure who this product is for since you can achieve most of the same functionality via other methods. It allows you to connect up to 3 HDMI devices, which you can then use to stream content. Meanwhile, the smart HDMI box does the color LED thing with lights that reflect the content you're viewing. It does what it says on the box, but I'm still scratching my head as to why this would be the best option versus dozens of others. If you need a HDMI connection box of this type, it does what it says it will. Recommended.

Not only did it not work, but I had to reset my video devices after it caused video issues on my 4K TV. This is the second time trying an 'ambilight' backlit system, and I'm not doing this again.Save yourself the time and headache and don't bother.

I ordered a 65 inch set and it wasn't even long enough to go around my 65 inch tv.. the lights feel very cheap and the L shape mounts are horrible it's not easy to put in the brackets if you're off by a centimeter it's hard to bend or curve around the corner due to the light square being right there.

Overall impression is a very new dimension to your tv viewing.The installation is pretty easy. The hardest part is removing the liner from the double sided tape. After installing the brackets on the 4 corners of the TV, you will run the lights the full diameter of the TV. This is pretty easy but a sticking point is the clips on the brackets and the lights have sticky tape that makes this a little challenging but not impossible. Once you make the full run, you will cut the excess off and connect to the box.The box is pretty much an HDMI switch but also intercepts the HDMI signal to mimic the color of the screen and set the lights accordingly. The app allows you to change the lights to various patterns or sync with the HDMI signal.It takes a minute to get used to, but does add a new effect to your TV viewing that is really cool.

Years ago I invested in the Philips ecosystem and installed an ambient lightstrip around the back of my TV. It has been... meh. The syncing is always a little off, the price was insane, and I got locked into that ecosystem. Now that the technology has improved, I feel good about moving out of that ecosystem and I ordered the Fancy Sync Box... this is awesome! First, it is very easy to set up and you don't have to worry about being locked into a specific ecosystem. Second, the syncing is so much more reliable and faster than my Philips setup. I'm very happy with this and will look for other Fancy LED products to integrate into my home setup.
