The off-road design handles bumps and grass pretty well, and the 2.4G remote keeps it responsive, even when we’re chasing it around outside. The gesture induction is a neat trick—my grandkids think it’s magic when it follows their hands. It’s sturdy enough for their rough play, too.Charging is simple, and the battery lasts long enough for a good time. The quality’s decent for the price—not heavy-duty forever, but plenty for fun. This is a very detailed RC MB G-Wagon. It looks right at home with my other scale models in my man cave. Only need to add the tri-star in the grille to make it 100%.It comes with two batteries for the SUV. You just need to add batteries to the remote. The opening doors with the "G" puddle lights are very cool! Being able to wave your hand over the hood to open the doors is even cooler! The headlights and tail lights work. The turn signals even makes the clicking soundamd the reverse beeps. I can see kids having a good time with this.I also like that the rear door opens. Just twist the spare tire! The RC controls are decent for the age level. Not proportional like my hobby grade controllers. Very jerky, not smooth. But for the price point and features, you can't really complain. This is the only SUV in my collection and it looks great as a static display. I'll let my friend's kids give it a spin when they come visit.

For this price point don't expect anything more than this car has to offer. It has many features that other remote control cars don't have. It is also larger than other remote control cars that my grandsons play with. My grandsons are having a great time with this car. I wish I had a car like this when I was a kid.

I got this as a Christmas present and the boy who got it was very happy and thought all of the little features were so cool!!! So it is a good gift.The back door opens , the driver and passenger doors open , the cool little lights on the doors , and the fact that there's an inside to put other toys in . definitely puts this rc toy above most other ones.I was surprised at how fast this car went , I wasn't expecting it .The only issues I have are , some of the controls in the middle are a little confusing or don't work right and the batteries die pretty fast .But if you're looking for a good gift for a little boy I think the price is worth it would definitely recommend this.

The media could not be loaded. I think I might've gotten a used one! The bag that had the batteries in it was open and just shoved in the foam box. Also, usually when you get something like this, the item is wrapped in plastic and this one was not.Not sure how this will be outside on rougher terrain. It definitely doesn't have much umpf. I tried to drive it over a small book and it just kept bumping into it.Not sure if the lights were dim because the battery might've not been fully charged or if that's just the way they are. Same thing with the radio. I know it's not a BOSE system, but it didn't sound that great.I thought the back door would open along with the side doors, but I couldn't get it to open. Not sure if that's a defect or what. Maybe that's why this may be a return??Overall, it's not horrible. It does come with two rechargeable batteries for the car. You do need two AA batteries for the remote.Not sure this is a $40 item though. More like $30 at most.

So, my wife decided she needed *another* toy – and she *loves* this RC car. It’s a 1:14 scale, and let me tell you, it's more durable than my last few attempts at assembling IKEA furniture. Doors open, lights flash, music blares... and she’s now driving this thing like she’s in an action movie. The best part? The car’s shock-absorbing system is so smooth, it’s almost like the car’s driving her instead of the other way around. Battery life? A solid 20 minutes of her zooming it around the house while I’m just trying to figure out where it went. Highly recommend... but don’t expect to get a turn with it!
