California Gold PayDirt-Yuba River-Sealed & Unsearched-Gold Added-2 Pounds Pay Dirt

I bought this product because the one that I have been getting is no longer available. I read the reviews and order it to just see what I would get. Out of a two pound bag I got 23 pieces of gold totaling 0.015 grams and two of them where grain of rice size nuggets. My First nuggets! when I did the math that is 3.5 grams per metric done of dirt. Watching the gold hunter shows that is why they slush tons of dirt a day to get 1 or 2 oz of gold. That is why it is called PROSPECTING and not finding, riching, wealthing!!!!!! So if you expect $$$$ out of a scope of dirt, get a life. This is more then I got digging dirt out of a river that is known to have gold in it.

So I always try to give every product a fair review. This one is somewhere in the middle, I would give it 2 1/2 stars, but that’s not an option. First, packaging was very nice, the bag being gold makes you really feel like there’s some in there. It was shipped very quickly! A big plus in my book! So to the paydirt. The product was like many of them out there, little bit of this and that for sand, some black sand, some blonde. Biggest problem I found was the gold is all in one classification. Not tiny, not big. The weight of the total gold found was 0.499 grams. This seems to be the total amount added to the bags, as other reviews online have shown a similar weight. This sand was extremely easy to pan, and would work well for someone new to the hobby. Don’t expect to find a lot of gold, infact know you will find somewhere near the half a gram range. To the maker of this product, even if you’re only going to do around a half gram of gold, maybe make the size of gold have a little more range so panning takes a little more time. Just some constructive criticism. Might make for a more entertaining product.

Very poor quality and I recommend steering clear of this one. I’ve been panning eighteen years and there was only a few flakes in this. I panned it twice just to be sure. (I don’t miss gold) and didn’t find any more. I can’t name other brands but one that starts with K is a much better option and available on amazon.

I was really impressed with this order. I didn't order hoping to get my money, but one can always hope and they say it is unknown to them as well, maybe. Anyway, I ordered a 10lb bag, from another company and it sucks bad, not even a picker. I mean for $128.00 dollars at least throw one inside the bag. This bag was about $50.00 and I found more gold inside, even a picker. I got this bag so someone could practice and they were crazy over the amount of gold inside. I would buy again and recommend you do the same.

It was a good time for first purchase. Around 30 flakes and 2 pieces too big to go up sniffer bottle. Defintaly better than the 2 i bought elsewhere. No clue on total grams but is a fun time. Def good for beginners as i couldnt see and fines.

I found very nice chunky gold in my pouch. Exactly what I ordered! No tiny place gold at all. Just nice chunky pieces to add to my collection. It's always fun panning and super exciting once you get to the end of your pan!!!

Waste of money and time.
