I am so excited to see how these guys grow! After a month or so with my 60 gallon freshwater cichlid tank, I still struggled with water clarity. Cichlids are messy eaters! I tried a variety of aquarium plants, none seemed to do much for water clarity. In some cases, the cichlids decided which plants needed to go.After checking out some tanks online, I liked the look of mangroves, which I honestly hadn’t even thought to try. The mangroves from this seller came lightening fast from FL to IN and were packaged securely in their box with a nice little heat pack to keep them warm. They were all really healthy, nice looking plants. I immediately placed them in aquarium plant holders which have suction cups to keep them elevated high enough to have the root/lower portion of the plants submerged. My tiniest cichlids were instantly thrilled with the new tank addition!Even more amazing though, my water clarity was 100% the VERY NEXT MORNING, i shit you not! I was and continue to be thrilled with this order.Thanks so much to this seller for a great product! I’ll try to post updates as the year progresses.

UPDATE: It has been roughly two months and ALL seedlings are doing extremely well. They arrived with each seeding having 1 to 2 leaves on a single node. Two months later all seedlings have around 6 leaves and have grown about 4 inches taller. I have moved some inside to filter my salt water refugium while the rest remain in my freshwater pond. Red mangroves grow well in fresh water, but are found mainly in brackish/salt water areas because there is less competition. My 60 gallon pond is crystal clear and the mangroves are the only source of nutrient (nitrates, phosphates, etc.) filtration in it. Still very satisfied.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------First off, the seedlings arrived well before the estimated delivery date. I was very happy to be able to put them to 'work' almost a week before I expected them to arrive. The listing was for 10 seedlings, but I counted 14 total. Not sure if this was a mix-up, or if the people at the nursery are just super cool. Either way I'm happy. I am using these mangroves as partial nutrient filtration for a small 60g pond in my back yard. The seedlings seem to be doing quite well so far and I will update after a few months on any growth. I live in MD, so I will be wintering them indoors in a tub along with the few non-cold water fish. Excellent quality seedlings.

The media could not be loaded. The trees arrived very carefully packaged and in perfect condition! The seller was even kind enough to include extra! There was a whole typed page of instructions on how to grow them and helpful tips with a direct email address for any questions. They all had very nice roots and nearly all had sprouted with at least 2 leaves. They look beautiful in my paludarium and I can’t wait for them to grow taller. Absolutely thrilled with my purchase 😁

I wasn't expecting much with how I have purchased mangroves from pet stores and online before. I was shocked when they arrived. All of them had multiple healthy leaves and full roots! So far I've had them for a month and they are doing well. My only concern so far is some dropping, but I think that these may have been grown in freshwater and even with me acclimating them to saltwater, they may still be a little "shocked"

Just placed my 3nd order for these from this place, and all of 1st order and 2nd are doing great and have grown very well. They even threw in a couple extra which was nice and unexpected.....BUT this 3rd order came VERY wilted n sift like noodles most have lost roots....2 came with no roots on them at all.This order VERY disappointed...

These mangroves are beautiful! Every one has a lot of roots, everyone has leaves - and they gave me 3 extras with my order!I was also really surprised when they arrived so early. I ordered on a Friday afternoon and then were at my door by Monday !I will definitely buy from here again

Ordered 10 and got 14 - all had two leaves and a few inches of roots.I've put all but one of them in a brackish water display tank floating (for now). None in the sump. I've got these for show!I picked the shortest and weakest looking of the bunch and put him floating in a jar of my brackish tank water with some plant nutrients mixed in as an experiment. The jar is sitting in a sunny windowsill as apposed to artificial lights. I'm hoping to learn from Mr. Jar and hopefully coax out some beautiful prop roots before letting any roots dig into substrate. If all goes well 4 or 5 years from now I'll have a wonderful and natural looking brackish mangrove display tank.Patience.
