Great for car cleaning trim, emblems and badges
I use this brush whenever I polish or wax my cars. It is great to get the little extra residue removed from the exterior of the car around the protruding details like badges & emblems. It works very well and gets all the little gunky spots cleaned out easily. It's tough to jam a nice soft fluffy microfiber towel in those nooks & crannies. The brush does not scratch the paint, chrome or other finishes. The brush fibers are called 'flagged brush tips' meaning they have splintered, bushy ends. This turns a single bristle into many smaller bristles and it has a very soft texture. Note, I do not use this on the interior, there are more specialized brushes for that. Some other reviews say that dust comes out of brush when running your finger over it while using. That means it's working! It is collecting small and hard to see residue. I do flick it clean when using, it's dried wax or polish residue. I have using using these for years and never once saw a scratch. There are some pics in another review of 'mushed-up' brushes. I never had that issue either. If that occurs, too much pressure is being used. Avoid detailers that say they have this problem. In the adjacent photo is a brush that I have been using for over a year, on about 20 to 25 occasions. It looks fairly fresh and in good condition. Next to the used brush is a new pack of 2 brushes - unused. You can see little difference between the used & new brushes. For the price, they're excellent, especially if used properly. If you think they're frayed: they're supposed to be that way. If they are, or get, mushed or deformed, they are not being used correctly. People who make that claim are probably rushing through the job using them and causing the deformation. One brush should last at least 20+ uses.

Mother's Detailing Brushes (GREAT VALUE & GREAT BRUSHES FOR DETAILING)
These little brushes are fantastic little ALL PURPOSE general cleaning brushes for the interior. You get two in the pack so you could actually dedicate one of them for exterior uses if you wanted to. These brushes have the best level of firmness in a small detailing brush. They are not real soft, but they aren't what I would call firm or stiff either. They are a good level for doing most of your interior scrubbing. They work real well down in the areas between and under the seats that are hard to get to with other brushes in that really tight area where the rail of the seat hits the floor and under it. Along the seat line between the seat and the door jamb, and other areas. I would NOT use them on sensitive areas such as the dash board area near the radio/nav equipment, etc. They would probably be too stiff for that. They are GREAT on seats, especially around the SEAMS of seats to scrub out those little bits of dirt before vacuuming and cleaning seats. GREAT FOR THAT. They also have this cool little piece of formed stiff rubber that is great for getting into those areas around your dash that you can't get into with a cloth or vacuum cleaner. You can literally "scrape" out the gunk from the seams with the rubber tip end. It's a nice feature to have for interior detailing and you'll actually use it more than you thought you would once you do it a few times. That feature alone is worthy of having this brush. And the fact Mothers gives you TWO of them for this price is worth it. One would be worth the price, they give you two! Give one to a friend or go "halves" with a friend and pay half the price each. Mother's has some of the best prices for brushes in the detailing world. I'm not a fan of much else they make, but their brushes are good and a very good value. I wish they made other brushes. I have most of their detailing brush line and they are some of the best brushes I have and I paid the least for them. If you are a detailer or weekend car cleaning enthusiast, get all the MOTHERS brushes before getting from those other brands and see how much you'll love them. Again, for the money, they just make sense. And they work! The wheel face brush, wheel arch brush, and tire & rubber brush are great. The only one I haven't tried is the upholstery brush but i'm sure that one is great too.

Great Brush for Cleaning My Steering Wheel
My F150 has a leather wrapped steering wheel. I recently noticed that is was very grimey. I guess it has been a while since it was cleaned. Normally I wipe it down with leather cleaner and then treat it with leather treatment. But, it was going to need more than that. I needed a brush to really get it cleaned. Picked out this style. Turned out to be the right choice. It was stiff enough to really work in the cleaner and break out the grime. But, it was not so stiff that it damaged the leather, or the stitching holding the wrap in place. But, definitely cleaned the wheel. Great choice, great tool. Washed up the brush with soap and water and it is ready to clean again.

'OK' at pet hair removal
It came today and was excited to use this brush on my car's carpet as the vacuum alone wouldn't pull up my dog's hair. It pulled up about half the hair, most of which lodged in the brush and had to be pulled out by hand. It managed to just move a lot of the hair around in the carpet, rather than pull it up. My car looks better than it did, so it kinda worked? The worst part is that after *15 minutes*, the brush is destroyed. I had to throw it out (I'll save the 2nd brush for something else I guess). If you're looking to help get dog hair out of the carpet of your car, look elsewhere!

Good detail brush use it auto sales all the time. Not thr best but great buy for the money
Great detail brush for cleaning interior or exterior trim. Im in auto sales and I have been detailing for as long as I have been in this business almost 15 years. This is one of the best all around detail brush on the market and its very effective and you cant beat the price.Works great on plastic rubber door panels you can use it on leather its soft but really cute thru When it comes to prolonge this brush or any detail brush rinse with water clean all dirt and debris then let it air dry for half hour. Then store in zip lock bag. This will prolong the life of ant detail brush .Update. So I have tried I few other tooth brush style brushes. This brush by mothers is very unique most horse hair brushes are too soft to clean the surfaces that this brush. Ordered another pack just have an extra pack ready to go. Great unique for detail brush

My new favourite trim and interior plastic brush
I was initially disappointed when the brushes arrived, the bristles were much harder than expected so I won't be using these on paintwork around badges, or on gloss plastics.BUT - for cleaning vinyl effect interior plastics, these things are a god-send. Spray with APC, srub down with one of these brushes and wipe up with a microfiber towel and the panel is spotless. No more going over the same area several times with a boars hair brush, or trying to scrub with an MF towel,
