Is the makita router table insert 235 x 120 compatable with this router table? can the insert be swapped to accomodate a makita plunge router?

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately the plate for this table is 305.8 x 229mm, so not compatible to fit the 235 x 120 Makita table insert. Can anyone tell me which of the cheaper trend routers will fit this bench, without having to re drill holes etc.

Thank you for your enquiry. The T4 router can be fitted to the Trend router tables, but new models have an automatic cut off in. line with new legislation for hand-held routers.
