Works as advertised
The holy grail of shoe shine. This stuff works almost too well. Only complaint is how hard it was to open the can. My coworkers will be jealous.

This stuff is magic
Wow, doesn’t cover it. I had a small Louis Vuitton bag. Yes real Louis Vuitton that I was actually going to get rid of because it was a tan color patent leather, but it had damages underneath the patent leather coating so there was no way to clean it and then I thought all right let me try dying it cause at this point I wasn’t using the bag anyway Well now because of this product it is spectacular. Yes, I died a Louis Vuitton bag and now I can actually take it out and use it. It is gorgeous, so yeah I don’t usually do product reviews but this one definitely deserved one amazing product.

Shine but takes too LONG to dry
Pro: I've used this on two different types of military style boots, it works perfectly my boot shine and look great reminds me of when I was using it back in the Army back in the day.Con: the applicator brush is messy you must have gloves on and put down a lot of newspaper. Forget the 6 to 8 hours one set of boot took three days to dry while the second set I made sure I use the applicator and dab it on a newspaper and paper towels could get some excess out and applied a lighter coat and that still took about 24 hours. All In All buy it if you want the shine just make sure you have enough time for it to dry

Best Kept Secret
Well, the statement I stated is "Best Kept Secret" may not be best for everyone, but to me it is. I always shine my boots when I was in the Army and for my federal law enforcement job. If you go to UTube, there is a guy that shows how to do it. The bad reviews that people give is because they do not have much experience with the product and how to do it. If you go to leather lusters website, you can send them your boots for them to do it. It cost $75 and it will take up to 4 weeks before you get them back. I did it myself and they look great. Put thin layers of leather luster for each coating session, and make sure you let them dry completely. Some of the drying problems:Don't put them outside in direct sunlight, or you could get pollen, sand, dirt, and everything else that is outside.Keep them next to the window with sunlight or keep them inside. Some people will use a fan, but my experience of using a fan was not good.Remeber whatever is in the air will get unto your boots and the fan will guarentee it. It will take longer to dry but it is better for you in the long run.How to Apply:First, I put 2 coats of leather luster on and use the steel wool from the kit after the secound coating. You think that doing this would be counterproducted, but it does work. Then I put another coat on, and wore the boots for a week. At this time they look good, but not great. After the week of wearing them, I brush them off and put two more coats on, and they look great. If you look close up, you see the imperfection that I made when applying, but from a couple feet from the actual boot, they look perfect. Some complaints with the peeling, it does happen I had small flakes that came from the creases of the boots. However, it didn't affect the appearence of my boots.Lastly, People states that this product will ruining your boots. I had leather luster on my boots for over the years, and when I replaced my boots it was because the of odor of my feet. Leather luster will clogged the pores of the leather, but I really didn't feel or see the difference with kiwi or leather luster. Alright again, this is my experience with this product. I had a great experience with this product, and some people will or did not have my experience or success. I hope this helps and I will attach Photos soon.

Not a good long term shine.
It's a great quick shine product. However for a long term shine it falls short. It peels and flakes. It can't stand up to shoe polish stands. It's better just to take your time and get traditional shoe varnish and shine them the old fashion way. It's important to add I'm not shining dress shoes but I'm shining work boots for DOC
