Just the Thing!
I absolutely love this Mount-It Lap Stand.I use my 12 inch MacBook as a laptop on one of those portable lap desks. I would constantly get messages that it was overheating, and one day it turned off! (Fortunately, it came back on, when it cooled off. ).My daughter told me that I needed a swivel-top stand, but the aluminium one she recommended, that had slots in at the bottom was no longer available.Browsing through Amazon, I found this one, and I love it. Made of lightweight metal, its wedged angle is perfect—not too steep—so I can type easily. It is also the perfect angle and height for zooming the classes I teach. I especially like the rubberised pads that hold my MacBook in place so that it does not wobble around.This is definitely worth every penny I paid for it.

I like it!
This thing is perfect the only thing I don't like is when you stand up the laptop you see the little grips sticking out and just looks a little tacky but other than that no complaints.
