Great Sound, Great Product!
First of all I want to say that I initially received a defective system and was not able to use this for the first of two functions that I purchased these for. However, Theresa at Audiosavings jumped through hoops to expedite my return and ship me a new system and all within a week from California to New Jersey. I am very impressed with Audiosavings customer service and professionalism. Now as far as the system as a whole, Awesome! I am not a professional DJ or for that matter even an amateur but I am a lover of music and great sound. I purchased these speakers to use for an outdoor projector and big screen to watch the World Series on for our family. We followed that up with a movie night and a couple of weeks later to play music for a small party of friends. Overall, everyone including myself was very impressed. People, please keep in mind that these are not $2,000 speakers they are an affordable option for the novice and even professional person wanting great sound in a great package. They are passive directional speakers, so yes if you have them turned opposing each other you don't get to experience the full sound it projects. The bass is sufficient but I can see if you are doing larger parties or events that you could use an additional powered sub-woofer. I am actually looking at some through Audiosavings because they carry a good selection there. The Bluetooth feature works great as well as the direct line in. Haven't tried the SD card or flash drive yet but I don't normally use these options for playing music anyway. The set up for these speakers is very easy, the stands are also very easy to set up and quick to install and get your event going right away. The microphone worked great and there's even a additional input for another microphone. Overall, these speakers are very impressive and I would recommend these to anyone.

Great value
Speakers have multiple inputs and can run more than one at the same time. I have used with vocal mics, electric instruments, and DJing small venues. Light but still pretty loud. Can fill a decent sized room with plenty of sound

Exceeded expecations
We bought this for our Wedding with low expectations, we just wanted something for background noise and ceremony. Once we set it up, which was easy, we we're able to play for hours to an outdoor venue of over 50 people. We've now had it for months and has been perfectly reliable after a handful of gatherings. From an audio standpoint, power-wise you are left assuming it's not that great on paper, but in person, the audio is plenty loud from 100 feet away, this keeping in mind that these are a PA system, requires the audience to be directly in front. The highs are plenty clear, mid are ok, but don't expect much from the lows, it's ok but nowhere near DJ levels, but we had that expectation going into these. There are built in presets for equalizer, though personally, we didn't find much difference in them. Lastly, the built-in microphone leaves a bit to be desired, we personally went with another wireless ones.Taking all considered, the clear audio, solid build quality, reliability, and price of about $300, I don't many speakers at that price can beat it.

A great value and performance at the price
This item is fairly simple to operate as a dual speaker PA system. There are 2 ‘“instrument/mic” inputs, a dual stereo Aux input and a Bluetooth/USB interface. The inputs each have gain controls and overall combined volume and tone controls. The Bluetooth/USB inputs feature some preset equalizations and there is also an included FM tuner. The main speaker has a built in 250w RMS amp which can also drive the included passive speaker via a 1/4” cable. It must be stated that this is NOT a true stereo system. It can take stereo inputs but then mixes them down to mono for an identical output from each speaker.First the disappointing issues. The Bluetooth input has mediocre performance with an iPhone or IPad having severe buffering issues and frequent drop outs. In my opinion totally useless. Also on start up one appears to have to choose between Bluetooth, USB or line inputs before use. The pre programmed EQ settings only work on the Bluetooth or USB inputs and have no effect on the wired inputs. So forget using the LCD display settings and buttons unless you are a glutton for punishment. Now for the good stuff. The 2 mic/instrument inputs and the AUX inputs work well which is what you really buy this for. The volume and tone controls work collectively on these combined. The sound quality is excellent and fairly flat between 100Hz and about 15KHz from my measurements (with tone controls set to minimum). Therefore adequate for a PA party audio system, singing (Karaoke) and guitar and keys inputs. You won’t get thundering bass below 100Hz without a sub woofer but then do you really need that. They advertise 116dB SPL max at @ 1m. So if the max SPL is at their 1000W peak then in reality at 250W RMS the output is only 110dB SPL from both speakers combined. So each speaker contributes 6dB for a true output of 103dB SPL from each speaker. That seems optimistic as the best speakers usually only manage 100dB SPL at 1m. Now the 250W RMS is probably into both speakers in parallel so each speaker only sees 125W RMS. That means that the volume from each speaker is equivalent to the volume from a 125W RMS guitar amp driving an efficient 12” speaker. With the two speakers combined they will be as loud as a 500W RMS amp driving a good efficient 12” speaker. That really isplenty loud for most medium sized venues.I use mine with only the powered speaker for keys and a modeling preamp for guitar in my band and it sounds awesome on stage. Very little distortion when cranked and crystal clear. If I want to bring the house down I’ll add the 2nd speaker. So in summary. Forget the Bluetooth and USB features, use cables and this is great value for the money. The performance is awesome when used in a live band environment. Stereo is unnecessary as only half the audience will hear each channel anyway except for the lucky few in the middle. Volume is great for small to medium club venues, sound quality is excellent and setup and installation is a breeze. Highly recommended.
